As with any other medical field it is always best to seek answers to be treated by a doctor. I am not a doctor, but because of the fact that my brother, after the application, I decided to seek this information. That's what I found.

It can be very serious. Did you know that complications from DVT blood clots kill up to 200,000 people in the United States each year?

Deep vein thrombosis or DVT is a blood clot in the legs and sometimes in the lungs, which can be fatal. In fact, complications in the formation of blood clots, DVT contribute to more deaths each year than AIDS and breast cancer combined. And increase cancer and heart or respiratory disease risk.

Fortunately, his son is treated, so it goes in the right direction.

The drugs typically used to treat deep vein thrombosis are divided into 2 basic categories. Your doctor may recommend:

Anticoagulants or thrombolytics

Anticoagulants do not dissolve, but to prevent blood clots that form and grow new ones.
All of these drugs MAand cause bleeding and should be taken only under medical supervision.

While taking taking these medicines:

Always read the label and discuss possible side effects with your doctor.
Take only the amount of prescribed medication and do not change the dose if they are trained.
Do not take this medication or herbal supplements without consulting your health care provider of mega vitamins.

Here are some websites that show May are

I am not a doctor, but I never thought that deep vein thrombosis are severe, if taken prior to the heart, brain or lungs
